Azerbaijan Position

Azerbaijan is South-eastern Caucasian country situated on the west shore of Caspian Sea. Caspian Sea is called “sea” because of it is size, in fact, it is the biggest lake of world, which is 28 meters below sea level. The country is situated right between Europe and Asia and this has affected the culture a lot. Humankind has lived in the territory of Azerbaijan in earliest times of civilizations. First humans have settled down here minimum 40.000 years ago approximately in Gobustan.
